@mgmguy9958,Since you're on support, there is no software cost associated with the upgrade, and if you implement it yourself, there would be no cost there either. Also, upgrade training is included in our KnowledgePass portal which you likely already subscribe to.If you want Kronos assistance with implementing the upgrade, professional services fees will apply. You may also want to consider migrating to our cloud. I believe we're still running promotions to 'upgrade to SaaS,' which would help keep upgrade costs down. Once a SaaS customer, all technical upgrades are performed by Kronos with no cost to your organization unless you deployed new modules or new functionality requiring additional configuration. Here are some resources:(Login required to our customer portal)(webinar recording)Please let me know if you have any other questions.Leo.

We're on 7 now but are looking at 8. I am attempting to get Kronos to work with Google Chrome 47.0.2526.106. The Kronos KB Article says the following:In Chrome browser, open a tab and enter the following in the address bar: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi. This will display a page of Chrome settings. The option to Enable NPAPI will be highlighted. Click Enable Stop and Restart Chrome The next time you hit a Java page, it may still report that Java plugin is disabled.
Follow instructions to allow Java plugin to load. However when I look at all these settings I cannot find one that talks about Enabling NPAPI. All I see is PPAPI Win32 lockdown which appears to be talking about a sandbox. So How do I enable NPAPI in order to get the Java plug in to work? I have the correct java client version installed. All of this works correctly in IE. Good question. We are on IE 9 due to a few legacy apps that we are working to either replace or remove. In the meantime I got Kronos to work on IE 9 for about four months now but since Kronos is not support IE 9 anymore and MS dropped it the cheese decided to use email everyone today saying we are going to go with Chrome and tagged me as the person to just fi x it if they have an issue.
I do not think they knew about the NPAPI myself. So I am curious how people are using Kronos with Chrome today?:). Old thread, but hopefully someone can help me out.We are unfortunately stuck on Kronos WFC 6.The non-java version works great for me with the latest versions of Chrome and IE.The only thing preventing me from deploying this link sitewide is what happens after logging in. When I login, I get the home page which displays a column with 'My Information' and another column with 'My Calendars'. Great, this is what I want. When some of my users login, they get a blank screen that says 'Home' in the upper right corner. When clicking the link they go to the page mentioned above. When another one of my users logs in, they get the 'Home' link in one browser and in another browser they are brought directly to their timecard. How can I get a consistent homepage after they enter in their credentials? I've already messed with the Navigation Profiles to no success. I sent an email to my payroll team who has all of the Kronos support information, so hopefully something will come of that.
Figured I'd try the community in the meantime incase there was an easy fix I was missing.Edit: It looks like the blank page is chalked up to an IE11 setting which I can fix. When viewing in chrome it goes to their time stamp page. The only remaining question is how to change the user home page for the non-java version.Edited Feb 24, 2016 at 01:52 UTC.
